Celebrity Participants Announced for Celebrity Chef OC 2010

CELEBRITY PARTICIPANTS ANNOUNCED
FOR COOKING COMPETITION

(Anaheim, CA)  Celebrity Chef OC, a fundraising event to benefit Community SeniorServ, has been scheduled for Saturday, June 12, 2010, at The Westin South Coast Plaza Hotel in Costa Mesa.

Celebrity Chefs scheduled to compete include:
Christine Devine, News Anchor, Fox 11 Los Angeles
Robert Hallowell, Hairstylist to the Stars
Laura Leighton, Actress, Melrose Place
CJ Luis, Eleven Year Old, Chef Prodigy
Frank Mickadeit, Columnist, Orange County Register
Ric Romero, Consumer Reporter, ABC 7, Los Angeles
Doug Savant, Actor, Desperate Housewives
Bruno Serato, Owner, Anaheim White House Restaurant
Barbara Venezia, Columnist, Orange County Register and former Co-Host, At Home on the Range

Each chef will be paired with a local professional chef and will have one hour to improvise and cook an appetizer and an entrée using a secret theme ingredient that is revealed at the beginning of the event. A distinguished panel of judges will determine the winners based on taste, presentation and originality. Guests will be treated to a great dinner featuring the secret ingredient, and a silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind treasures.

Community SeniorServ is the largest provider of meals and support services to older adults in Orange County. More than 1,000 homebound clients are delivered three meals a day five days a week. In addition, another 1,300 older adults are served a nutritious lunch at one of 27 senior centers in central and north Orange County.
