Loosely based on the Food Network’s show “Iron Chef”, Celebrity Chef OC featured notable Orange County residents in a cooking competition. The Celebrity Chefs that participated included:
Christine Devine, News Anchor, Fox 11 Los Angeles

Frank Mickadeit, Columnist, Orange County Register
Ric Romero, Consumer Reporter, ABC 7, Los Angeles
Doug Savant, Actor, Desperate Housewives
Bruno Serato, Owner, Anaheim White House Restaurant
Barbara Venezia, On-line Columnist, Orange County Register
The Celebrity Chefs were paired with local professional chefs and had one hour to improvise and cook an appetizer and an entrée using the secret ingredient that was revealed at the beginning of the cooking competition. A distinguished panel of judges including Fifi Chao, Food and Restaurant writer for the Orange County Business Journal; Boyd Hendrickson, CEO, Skilled Healthcare; Janet Nguyen, Chair, OC Board of Supervisors; Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez; Pam Waitt, President, OC Restaurant Association determined the winners based on taste, presentation and originality.
