Jack McElvein Named VP Food Services & Sales
In this new position Jack will be responsible for the non-profit’s core nutrition programs and the growth of its social enterprise business, CSS Foods.Jack has more than thirty years experience in the food services industry, most in the health care setting. Jack will oversee the meal preparation for Community SeniorServ’s Meals on Wheels program that provides three meals a day to 1,100 homebound older adults and its Senior Lunch program that provides hot lunches to an average of 1,300 participants a day at 27 senior centers in Orange County. Jack will also be responsible for the management and growth of CSS Foods, Community SeniorServ’s social enterprise business. CSS Foods provides bulk food production and unitized meals for non-profit and for-profit partners. The net profits from CSS Foods are reinvested back in to the agency’s core mission programs.

Community SeniorServ is the largest senior nutrition provider in Orange County and the State of California. In addition to its nutrition programs Community SeniorServ also provides its participants with case management services and in-home supportive services as needed.
