Charity Navigator Gives Community SeniorServ a Four Star Rating
Charity Navigator is America's premier independent charity evaluator. The organization rates charities on two broad areas of financial health: organizational efficiency and sustainability. Charities are given an overall rating, ranging from zero to four stars. Charity Navigator’s ratings show donors how efficiently charities will use their support today and to what extent the charities are growing their programs and services over time.
In a letter to Community SeniorServ, Ken Berger, Charity Navigator’s President and CEO, wrote: “We are proud to announce your organization has earned our 4-star rating for its ability to efficiently manage and grow its finances. Approximately a quarter of the charities we evaluate have received our highest rating, indicating that Community SeniorServ executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, and outperforms most other charities in America. This ‘exceptional’ designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Community SeniorServ from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”
